Our customer, based in Finland, is looking for  an experienced Software Architects and Tech Leads for MeeGo projects. In addition to innovative environment and cutting edge mobile technologies, projects will involve an international team of devoted professionals.

As a SW Architect you will be responsible of the design and SW architecture of challenging software development projects. You will take the technical responsibility of the project and work in close co-operation with the Project Manager to steer the project towards a common goal. You are able to implement your design and to guide your designer team. You will work as a part of a highly skilled team, working in co-operation with other technology teams to fulfill common feature requirements. Your eventual work role and responsibilities can naturally be tailored according to your aspirations and competencies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Good knowledge of software architecture

• Strong skills in C/C++ and Qt

• Solid background in MeeGo/Maemo, LiMo, Android or other mobile platforms

• Experience and knowledge in Linux platform and Linux application development

• Knowledge of open source community practices and other SDK environments

• Experience in Hildon, GTK+, OpenGL, OpenMAX, OpenAL and/or OpenVG

• Thorough knowledge of software development processes and tools

• “Can do” -attitude

• Knowledge in Agile development methods

• Excellence in problem solving, algorithms, data structures and design patterns

• Good interpersonal communication skills

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
